Becoming a mom

My husband and I welcomed our first little one in the summer of 2023 and our lives forever changed! We have since welcomed her sister into our growing family. Our daughters bring us joy and wonder every day.

With the encouragement of my midwives, I hired a doula to assist me at my first birth. While my doula was not able to make it in time for the delivery, she was there afterwards holding my hand through stitches. That was when I deeply felt the power of support from a fellow mother for the first time. My eldest daughter’s birth and this first postpartum experience were my inspiration for pursuing birth work.

Becoming a doula

I received my Postpartum Doula certification in June 2024 and later became certified as a Birth Doula in August 2024. I am eager to help moms receive the care that they deserve and to help them have a sense of peace throughout their birthing experience. Incorporating spirituality into my work as a doula is something that I am passionate about and want to share with mothers.

As your doula, I will provide customized care according to your needs and wants. I want you to be confident and informed about your decisions leading up to meeting your little one. I am here to walk with you through your birth, whether it be in your home, a birth center, or a hospital, and to cherish the beautiful memories along the way.

My goal is to bring affordable, quality care to mothers during this precious and sacred stage of life. Together we can thrive in our God-given vocation!
